(Update 2/6/12) Doing a complete overhaul of my Team, after some reading and advice. So here's a quick look at the finished product (to-be).
Ravemon BM (Finished) - Royal Slash - Flash Punch - Burst Breath - Glory Thunder (Max Stats; Max Resists)
Apocalymon (Finished) - 01 Crusher - Dark Savior - D. Mag. Square - Absolute Healing (Max Stats; Max Resists)
Beelzemon (Done Sliding, Resistance Training) - Royal Slash - Flash Punch - Burst Breath - Electro Whipping (Max Stats; Dark, Earth, Fire Resists Maxed)
DotShineGreymon (Done Sliding, Resistance Training) - Purification - Royal Slash - Flash Punch - Burst Breath (Max Stats; No Resists Maxed)
Calumon (Traded from Dawn, DNA Stat Boosting) - Charge - Light Wave - Power of Love - Absolute Healing (Speed Maxed; No Resists Maxed)
(Update 2/5/12) Decided to start a Slide for Apocalymon with a Moveset suggested by Harceru (thanks). Putting off Resistance training until he's done. Also, considering trying DotShineGreymon as an alternate (not replacement) for ShineGreymon BM, also at Harceru's suggestion.
(Update 2/6/12) Started Sliding my new Team.
(Update 2/11/12) Done Sliding Team. Resistance Training.

I don't like burst counter on Chronomon, it never seemed to work properly for me. Then you need at least a reviver in your "main" team, otherwise you will have little chances of winning against an opponent who has one.

Thanks for the input, thrasher. As I said, I'm still waiting to fill the Support roles on the Team, and I think I was planning on using either Apocalymon or Seraphimon to fill the role of "Reviver". As for Burst Counter, I figured I'd throw it on Chronomon for a little extra kick. He's a truly defensive Digimon and I figured, since he'll be spending so much time soaking up damage, that he might as well chip away at the opponent while he's at it. He'll probably be rotated out for a real Healer anyway, but for now...he's there.
Updates are in the first post!

So, I figured I would post the Team that I'm working on right now. I've put around 20 hours into finishing the game, then 80 into creating a competitive Team. So, I'll post them here, with stats, moves, resists, and anything else I can think of. ShineGreymon BM (Updated 2/5/12)- Flash Punch - Royal Blizzard - Burst Breath - Royal Slash (Max Stats, All Resists Maxed) Beelzemon BM (Updated 2/5/12)- Electro Whipping - 01 Crusher - Flash Punch - Burst Breath (Max Stats, All Resists Maxed) Chronomon HM - Absolute Healing - Burst Counter - Royal Blizzard - Royal Cannon (Max Stats, no Resists Maxed) Ravemon BM - Absolute Healing - 01 Crusher - Glory Thunder - Royal Slash (Max Stats, no Resists Maxed) As you can see, I'm still working on the Team. Right now, I'm finishing off ShineGreymon's Resists, then moving on to Beelzemon. That's going to take me a while, as I'm sure you're all aware. But I like my Team so far. It's mostly a brute force approach, with Chronomon as a healing Tank and Ravemon as a backup healer. I plan on filling the last 2 slots in my Team with a couple of support Digimon (Light Mandala, D. Mag Square, Water of Life, Power of Love, etc.) so I can have a fully functional online Team. So let me know what you think of the Team so far. I'll update it when I finish each Digimon's Resist Training and when I add the other Digimon to it. (Update 2/5/12) I've finished Resistance Training ShineGreymon BM and Beelzemon BM, and I'm moving onto Ravemon BM. I don't think I'll bother with Chronomon, since I'm going to replace him with a standard Healer/Reviver soon. After training Ravemon, I plan on looking for and starting some more Slides that will result in some decent Support Digimon (Seraphimon, Apocalymon, Rosemon BM, etc.). Until then, keep the advice coming, and keep watching for updates on this Team. Your team is absolute junk. ChronomonHM is supposed to be a healer, replace Royal Blizzard, Royal Cannon and Burst Counter with Mandala of Light, Water of Life and Pollen Spray. I'd wipe out your entire team with Apocalymon, using Pollen Spray and Darkness Zone, then proceed in with my hyper-offensive Digimon, who is a ZeedMilleniumon. Traits: - Heroic Power - Angel's Glory - Flame Aura - GladiatorShineGreymonBM's traits are absolute junk, if I was you, I'd pick DotShineGreymon instead, since his traits are very good. Let's take a look at his traits. Heroic Power makes him a good sweeper. All Element + Status Barrier makes him one of the best defensive Digimon. Give him a mix of offensive + defensive attacks, and you're good to go! Traits: - Heroic Power - All Element - Economizer - Status Barrier~~~Moving on to your BeelzemonBM, replace his 01 Crusher with Royal Slash. You'll need to it to deal high damage to other Dark Digimon. Now, if you want an Apocalymon, I suggest this moveset: 01 Crusher, Pollen Spray, Dark Magic Square and Dark Savior. You'd best go with this set, since he's the best defensive Digimon. He would resist enemy Digimons' attacks with his All Element trait, and he would save some MP with his Economizer trait for long battles. Status Barrier is for nullifying status disorders, which is quite useful. Traits: - All Element - Economizer - Skill Master - Status Barrier~~~Your RavemonBM is absolute junk. Absolute Healing and 01 Crusher on him? Seriously? Let's take a look at his traits for a minute. Traits: - Heroic Move - Sylph Air - Evasion Dance - Assassin SenseHeroic Move + Evasion Dance + Assassin Sense. Those traits make him a fast Digimon, he'll always go first if your other Digimon don't have Heroic Move, same thing for your opponent's Digimon. This could be quite useful to quickly kill an enemy who's HP is low. Assassin Sense is for critical attacks, very useful. Evasion Dance isn't very good for him, but it's still useful. I suggest you go with this moveset for him: Glory Thunder, Royal Slash, Burst Breath and Flash Punch.

Can we not do the whole "your Digimon are junk because it's not what I would use" thing?
Other than that, thank you for the input, Harceru. I CAN tell you that I've considered all of those options already and decided against them simply because I wanted to be a bit different. If my choices don't pan out, then maybe I'll try something some of those options.
I didn't choose DotShineGreymon because I didn't want him to be defensive, stupid of me, but that's how it is. Maybe I'll try it sometime, though.
I enjoy thinking outside of the box and using movesets that I consider to be "different" or "unexpected". It's served me extremely well when playing Pokemon competitively, and I wanted to see if it would work out for me in Digimon as well. The mechanics might be a bit different, but it feels right to me.
Thanks, Harceru. I really needed the advice on Apocalymon. But, you don't need to tell people their Digimon are "junk". It's rude, and I personally wouldn't do the same to you, because I would respect your choices regardless.

It's rude, and I personally wouldn't do the same to you, because I would respect your choices regardless. I tell it like this: If veracity is disingenuous to you, and anything from me comes off offensive to you, then ignore it and don't point it out. You do not have to do exactly what I suggested you to do, it was only a suggestion to help you become better at competitive Digimon. Competitive Pokemon does not equal competitive Digimon, as if there are many differences. However, you can use a Gaomon with max statistics and resistances to defeat a ghoulmon with max statistics and resistances, the key is the moveset, you need good techniques to help you in different situations. I hope you take my advise into consideration. While you're here, visit the chat, I'm there along with Zurg.

Updates are in the first post. Let me know what you think! Thanks. You CAN use both DotShineGreymon and Apocalymon on the same team, but you can't use another member with Status Barrier and All Element. Am I clear?
