So Joey ran towards his mom and asked where the Digigate is.
Mom: You're not going Joey!
Joey: But mom...
Mom: Do you really think I would let you do something as dangerous as this is?! What kind of mother would I be if I allowed that?

Kudamon: A mother who trusts her son.
Mom: What did you say?!
Kudamon: You are just affraid that Joey will get lost too, but that's not going to happen. I will protect him and Adom is with us.

Joey: You don't know Adom?! The Egyptian Champion?! One of the best tamers in the world?!
Mom: So that's why you want to go huh? To be with your idol.
Joey: That's not it. Digimon are my friends and if someone is hurting them, it's making me angry. It's wrong to hurt Digimon, that's what dad always said.

Joey: If you don't want to help me, I'll go find the Digigate myself.
Joey walked away, not sure where he had to go.
Mom: The Big Ben.
Joey: Huh?
Mom: On the top of the Big Ben is the Digigate.
Joey: You're letting me go?
Mom: If you promise to stay with Kudamon and that guy named Adom.
Joey: I promise!
Kudamon: Let's go fight evil!
Mom: Wait a minute! You're not going away without taking food and water with you.
So Joey got his backpack and stashed it up with water and sandwiches. His mom didn't want to see her 12 year old son go away, but she knew it was the best thing to do. So together with Kudamon, Joey started his trip to the Big Ben.
Joey wasn't a very experienced tamer, he actually just started taming Kudamon, but he knew a lot about Digimon and that was because of his dad. Joey's father was a Digimon researcher and researched Digivolutions. One day when he went to Digital World, he didn't came back. No one knew where the researcher was. From that day, Joey wants to become Tamer King, so every Digimon and Digimon tamer would respect him and would help him find his dad. But that day was still far away...
Joey: Wow... Mom never let me go outside when it's so dark.
Kudamon: Are you scared?
Joey: No... well, a little maybe.
Kudamon: Joey... don't move.
Joey: Why? What's wrong Kudamon?
Kudamon: I feel like we're being watched.
Joey and Kudamon didn't move and they heard sounds of Digimon moving, no, flying near them. And then...
: DEMI DART!
Kudamon: BULLET WHIRLWIND!
The attacks hit each other with full speed.
Joey: Oh no! What should we do Kudamon?!
Kudamon: Leave it to me Joey. DemiDevimon, show yourself!
DemiDevimon: Wow... You're quite the smart one aren't you?
Kudamon: You're the only Digimon using that move in these parts, so it wasn't that hard.
Joey: Leave us alone!
DemiDevimon: Take a look at that. A little kid out here all alone.
Joey: I am not alone! I'm with Kudamon!
Kudamon: That's right!
DemiDevimon: How touching. Well... I am done with the both of you! BAT FLUTTER!
Kudamon: BLINDING RAY!
Because of the attack DemiDevimon was blinded and his attack missed.
Kudamon: Come on Joey! Run!
Joey: Okay!
Together they ran away while DemiDevimon was still blinded. They weren't far from the Big Ben when they suddenly heard a scary voice.
: You really think you could escape?
Joey: DemiDevimon?
Kudamon: No, this is someone else.
: Bleh... DemiDevimon already told me that you always know anything better.
Joey: Who are you?
: BOO!!!!
Joey: Whaaah!!!
Kudamon: BULLET WHIRLWIND!
Bakemon: Hahaha! You really thought, that a weak attack like that would hurt me?! Take this! ZOMBIE CLAW!
Kudamon had to fully endure the hit and it didn't look good.
Bakemon: Is this all you've got? Weakling!
Joey: He's not weak! Kudamon is my friend! Don't talk at him like that!
Bakemon: And what are you going to do about it?
: Wow... You sure are tough, Bakemon, picking on kids.
Bakemon: Huh? Who are you?! Show yourself!
: Look up.
Bakemon, Joey and Kudamon all looked up to the Big Ben and on top they saw a human together with a Digimon.
Kudamon: Clockmon!
Bakemon: POISON BREATH!
Clockmon: TIME BUSTER!
Clockmon crashed into Bakemon and defeated it in one blow. Suddenly the big door of the Big Ben went open.
: Hi!
Joey: Are you Clockmons tamer?
Neo: I sure am. My name is Neo.
Joey: You... you are... our NATIONAL CHAMPION?!
Neo: I see you know me.
Joey: Of course I know you! You're the best tamer in our country. Are you also going to the Digigate?
Neo: No... I am staying here to protect London and the UK. I am helping tamers like you find the Digigate.
Joey: Is the Digigate upstairs?
Neo: It sure is! Come on, I will show it to you.
So they went upstairs to the top of the Big Ben until they stood in front of a big gate.
Neo: Hold your Digivice towards it.
Joey: Like this? WOW!
Neo: Now it's open. Go and say hi to Adom from me!
And so Joey and Kudamon started their journey, full with motivation to help Adom and save both worlds.
