The digital world, and the overall feeling of the game became peaceful again. Almost 3 weeks have passed since the Omega Army was defeated. The Neos had a new member, Lyra, and her, Chanook and Vladimir were preparing their digimons for the upcomming tournament.
-Lyra: Hey Chanook, you said your parents lives in Toronto, right?
-Chanook: Yeah! I've been there a while ago. I like the place, I'd rather live there than in Québec city.
-Lyra: You don't like your city very much don't you?
-Chanook: Oh, it's alright, it's just a bit boring.
-Lyra: I've been there once. It was a pretty nice place to visit, however, I've seen nicer places.
-Vladimir: Hey Chanook, we're all in this tournament, but we don't know the rules yet...
-Lalamon: Didn,t you receive an E-mail?
-Chanook: Yeah, sorry guys, I completely forgot. Yeah, I got an e-mail regarding the rules. The rules are actually pretty simple. To get into the Tournament, our digimon must be able to reach Ultimate level, but musn't have reached the Mega Level yet. There's going to be three rounds for the main event. On round 1, the contestant will use their digimon in their rookie level, on round 2, champion level digimon will be used, and for the finals, we will have to use Ultimate Level digimons.
-Gaomon: Been a while since I fought in my rookie and champion forms, this will make good practice.
-SnowGoblimon: Yeah, I've been in my champion for for AGES. It would be a nice change of pace to fight as my rookie form as well.
-Lalamon: We've only recently reached Ultimate form... so it's not that new for us to fight in champion form.
-Vladimir: So, shall we meet tommorow? I'm getting tired.
-Lyra: Yeah, me too. Let's meet tommorow for that tournament.
-Chanook: Alright, see you guys tommorow!
Each one went back to their home. The next day, the tournament started. Without too much effort, all three cleared the preliminaries. 8 people reached the main event.
-Chanook: Who are you up againts, Lyra?
-Lyra: I'm againts some guy called Laurance from somewhere in the USA, and will apparently use a Gabumon...
-Vladimir: I'm fighting againts some guy from South Korea. From what I saw, he's using Patamon
-Chanook: Wow... those doesn't look too hard... I'm fighting someone from Japan, with her Dorumon.
-Lyra: That reminds me of Nodoka...

: That's cause that Dorumon is mine!
-Lyra: Nodoka? What are you doing here?
-Chanook: I intentionally dind't tell you, Nodoka lied to us when she said she was busy. She trained with me all this time.
-Vladimir: That pretty cool that you're participating Nodoka
-Nodoka: Hehe! I know.
-Announcer: The main event will now begin. Players participating in the first battle, please go to the arena.
-Lyra: I guess I'm first. See you guys later!
Lyra left to the arena. Nodoka, Vladimir and Chanook stayed outside.
-Vladimir:Aren't we going to root for her?
-Chanook: I'll be honnest with you, even if we are the only true humans here, I'm not confortable with all these people.
-Nodoka: I'd rather stay out of the crowd as well.
-Vladimir: Chanook, Nodoka... you are fighting againts each others, right?
-Chanook: Yeah.
-Nodoka: Yup
-Vladimir: I just noticed. In the case I win my battle, I'm going to fight againts one of you. And concidering the skill level of Lyra, one of us three will most likely end up againts her.
-CHanook: Awesome! That means that either possible way, our clan will become famous!
-Nodoka: That's great!
-Vladimir: But don't let your guard down. We know nothing of the 4 other people who's in this tournament.
-Lalamon: Vladimir's right
-Dorumon: Yup, we should be careful.
Almost an hour has passed. Lyra's battle was over, and went back to see the rest of the group.
-Lyra: You should have seen this. I just watched the second battle. That guy using the Tentomon was extremely powerful. I think I'll have trouble next round...
-Chanook: Don't say that. I'm sure you'll defeat him!
-Vladimir: I don't want to interrupt you, Chanook, but Nodoka is already on her way to the arena. You're up next.
-Chanook: What? Oh wait, you're right! I gotta hurry up!
Chanook and Nodoka hurried to the arena.
-Announcer: And now! For the third battle of this tournament two person from totally different countries, but yet are on the same guild! From the Neos clan: Chanook with his Lalamon and Nodoka with her Dorumon! Best of luck for both of you!
-Nodoka: Please don't go easy on me.
-Chanook: Don't worry. I wasn't helping you only to give you an easy battle! Ready Lalamon?
-Lalamon: Yeah! I've been looking foward that tournament, even though I end up againts Dorumon on the first round.
-Dorumon: Nodoka! I know we can do this!
-Anouncer: Ready? GO!
-Lalamon: SEED BLAST!
-Nodoka: Dorumon! Dodge that, and try to use that attack you learned!
-Chanook: I knew you'd do this early
Dorumon dodged Lalamon's Seed Blast And then...
-Dorumon: METAL CANNON!
-Chanook: Lalamon! You know what to do!
-Lalamon: Right! LALA SCREW!
By spinning the leaves on top of her heads, Lalamon managed to completely disable Dorumon's attack.
-Nodoka: How is that possible?
-Chanook: Nodoka, that Metal Cannon was perfect, however, remember that metal based attacks doesn't cause a lot of damage to Lalamon, who is a plant type.
-Lalamon: SEED BLAST!
-Dorumon: In that case... *dodges Lalamon's attack* DINO TOOTH!
Dorumon manages to bite Lalamon's head.
-Lalamon: Ouchies! That hurst a lot!
-Chanook: Lalamon! NOW!
-Lalamon: SEED BLAST!
The attacks lands on Dorumon, who didn't have time to dodge.
-Dorumon: Ouch!
-Nodoka: I know it won't be much effective, but try that other move!
-Dorumon: Got it! DASH METAL!
Dorumon was too fast. He was able to hit Lalamon pretty easily.
-Chanook: Lalamon! If he continues like that, we won't last long. Even if those attacks doesn't deal much damage to you, if you keep getting hit like that, you're gonna be defeated in no time! Do that trick you told me about!
-Lalamon: Oh yeah!
-Nodoka and Dorumon: What?
-Lalamon: Sing-a-song...
Lalamon started to sing. Strangely, it made Dorumon fall asleep...
-Nodoka: What's happening?
-Chanook: Forgot to tell you that Lalamon can make it's opponent sleep deeply with her Sing-a-song attack. Sorry Nodoka, but I don't think you'll stand a chance againts Lalamon...
-Nodoka: Dorumon! Wake up!
-Lalamon: Don't bother. He won't wake up until at least 10 minutes.
-Nodoka: Then...
-Anouncer: It would seem that Dorumon is unable to battle anymore! I now declare Lalamon the winner!
-Nodoka: You hid this strategy all this time huh?
-Chanook: Actually, I had completely forgotten until now. But I wouldn't have use it right at the begining of the battle
-Nodoka: Either way, you won fair and square... I hope you and Vladimir will have a good battle!
-Chanook: Don't worry! We will!
Vladimir was up next. He was up againts a Wormon, who surended after only 2 minutes after the begining of the battle.
