Chanook, Lyra and Nodoka had left the game. However, Vladimir decided to stay.

-Alphonso: Yeah. Anyways. We should go get some rest. Tommorow, I'm going to explain everything to you.

Vladimir and Alphonso went back to the real world. Chanook and Nodoka had already told everything to Gloria, Francois and Troy. The day after, they met up at the ROM Lake, like planned.
-Alphonso: Welcome, members of the Neos. First of all, let me introduce myself: I am Alphonso, an old friend of Vladimir's. Now, there's something I want to tell you. A man I used to work for is planning to take over both the digital and the real world. I don't know what are his true intentions, but I know he has some pretty powerful allies. We are the only ones who can defeat them.

-Alphonso: There are nine people who have been chosen. Eight of these people are right here, that means your clan, and myself. I don't know who is the ninth one however...

-Nodoka: I think... no, actually, I'm sure it's Guilmon...
-Troy: The same Guilmon that sided with RiseGreymon? The one we let go?
-Nodoka: Yes. Remember? The same thing happened with Crescemon. I really doubt it would have happened if that WarGrowlmon was, in fact, soul synchronizing with his partner.
-Francois: Hey, you're right! We need to seek him now.
-Gloria: But how?
-Vladimir: We fought him in Moscow. There's a good chance he's still around.
-Francois: I have some free time, I can come with you to find him...
