I know it's a bit early to already start thinking about an online team, considering I'm only at the start of the game, but what makes a team a good team? What are some of the (best) techniques/traits/... you should get when building one and how do you decide what Digimon to use? Do you decide based only on traits? Thanks in Advance:

Here are the best traits:
All Element - Greatly increases Digimon's Defense against all attacks. Status Barrier - Cancels out all Status disorders. Economizer - Greatly reduces MP needed for techniques. Skill Master - Greatly increases the duration of a technique's effects. Healing Aura - Greatly increases the efects of recovery moves. Gladiator - Tremendously increases damage dealt in battle. God's Eye - Tremendously increases Digimon's accuracy rating. Assassin Sense - Tremendously increases Digimon's critical hit ratio. Evasion Dance - Tremendously increases Digimon's chances of dodging enemy attack.

So I take it the choice of Digimon should mainly be based on the traits they boast?

Yes, you should pick Digimon based on traits. The traits I listed up there are the best.

If you're looking for DNA slides, post slides you want in my "Return of the Slide shop!" thread.

I'll have a look at that guide, it seems well written and structured. Another question if you don't mind. Based on what I've read, you pass on techniques from one Digimon to another by sliding, so when you digivolve, degenerate or DNA digivolve Digimon, do they keep the moveset of their previous form? Or how does this process work exactly?

It's okay, ask me questions all you want. However, I can lead you to KilledHeart, who can help you more than me.
